Gasoline Leak Causes Explosion And Fire In Allouez

(WFRV) ALLOUEZ, WI Residents of a Green Bay area home were startled last night when a minor explosion started a fire in their basement.

Authorities say a gasoline leak caused the incident at 3634 Glenbrooke Lane in Allouez.

Firefighters who responded to the explosion and fire told CBS 5 that the apparent source of the leak was a boat parked in the homeowner's driveway.

Gas leaked into the basement, and when the sump pump activated, it caused an explosion and fire.

No one got hurt, but there was some structural damage to the home.
