Sump Pump Alarm

Whether you have a sump pump system or not, it would be nice to know if your basement is about to be flooded. The installation of a high water alert system, sometimes called a sump pump alarm, will warn you that water is rising in your basement or sump basin.

A sump pump alarm is designed to detect high water levels before flooding occurs and emits a high-decibel sound to alert you that your basement is in danger of flooding. This can tip you off that your sump pump is not working properly, or if you don't have a sump pump it can give you time to stop the flooding before it spreads.

Sump pump alarms can be battery-operated or run off your electric system. A battery operated model gives you the security of working when you electricity goes out. These models will also sound when the battery is low on power so that you can replace it.
