Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Product Description
The Wayne 12-Volt 310 GPH portable battery-powered transfer water pump gets its power from car or marine batteries, with attached battery clips for easy installation and total portability. A 6-foot suction hose attachment removes water within 1/8-inch of the surface, and the pump is bronze-plated for a long life and resistance to thread damage. The discharge is threaded to attach to standard garden hoses, and an included replacement parts kit makes repairs easier. Wayne backs its pump with a one-year limited warranty.

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars powerful little pump   August 1, 2006
4 out of 4 found this review helpful

This is a very nice little pump. There are two problems though. It pulls 14 amps. If you want to use it in standard DC applications, a 10 amp max is more compatible. To use this in an automated/switched environment, I had to find a special relay to use. Second, the impellers burn out fast if this pump runs dry. There seems to be no easy way to order additional impellers and that's a pain.
