Amazon.com Product Description
The Wayne 1-1/2-Inch-by-24-foot sump discharge hose kit with clamps can be used with all sump pumps that have a 1-1/2-inch discharge tapping. It's sectioned at every eight feet for easy cutting to the desired length, with a threaded male adapter and hose clamp for mounting to the pump.

5 out of 5 stars good size hose   November 26, 2008
The hose is a good size and allows the sump pump to pump more fluid per minute than the garden hose. The only problem is the hose has a 1 1/2 adapter and the pump came with a 1 1/4 fitting. All else is good.

2 out of 5 stars discharge hose   September 15, 2008
I bought this because amazon recommended it along with a Wayne sump pump. Much to my dismay, they were NOT compatible!! I had to go buy an adapter to make it work. Beware Amazon recommendations for sump pump discharge hoses!

3 out of 5 stars Shame on you Amazon!   August 25, 2008
i purchased a water pump on amazon, and when i did amazon offered this hose to go with it. (with the option "buy them both"). unfortunately this was NOT the correct size for the water pump we ordered. so, i'm not sure about the quality of this particular hose, since it is not designed for the water pump i purchased, and i was unable to use it.

4 out of 5 stars Does the job   June 11, 2008
I'm not sure why this is being reviewed so poorly. I found it to be exactly what it appears to be, a 1 1/2" flexible plastic hose kit that includes everything one needs to connect to a sump pump with a 1 1/2" outlet. I just installed one on an appropriate Taylor sump pump. It took ten minutes, required no trips to the hardware store, and works just fine. I will eventually replace it with more permanent PVC piping, but this hose was perfect to get me up and pumping ASAP.

Yes, the hose is relatively lightweight plastic, but it is plenty heavy for use with sump pump pressures. I never felt I was anywhere close to breaking it. I also think heavier plastic would compromise flexibility, making the hose harder to maneuver. My only suggestion to Taylor would be to also include a 1 1/4" fitting so this hose could be used with their smaller pumps too.

2 out of 5 stars connecting to pump a pain   March 8, 2008
bought this to go with a wayne pump. connecting it to pump involved two trips to the local hardware store, wasting my time!! once connected worked fine.
