Life Saver November 30, 2008
This pump literally saved my heating unit. After torrential rains flooded my basement and rising water level threatened to destroy my new furnace, I called for the pros to pump out my basement, but they were too backlogged with emergency calls to timely respond to my problem. I quickly ordered this unit. It came via overnight shipping and quickly went to work pumping hundreds of gallons of water out of the affected area. It's fast, reliable and easy to operate. This unit also pulls double duty emptying my outdoor fish pond for cleaning. One of the best purchases I have ever made and I will never be without this unit. I can highly recommend the Simer Geyser Pump to anyone looking for a fast and efficient way of pumping water.
Great Little Pump November 25, 2008
Powerful (very good output) pump for so small a price. I use it to drain my 10,000 gallon swimming pool once or twice a year as part of a chemical balancing routine. I am very pleased with it, though I have used it only once so far for this application.
Good pool cover pump November 13, 2008
I purchased this to remove the water from my above-ground pool cover this fall. I have used it 3 or 4 times so far and it has done an excellent job. It will not completely remove all of the water, but enough to relieve the weight and allow the sun to dry the remainder. (The product manual states this very clearly.) Good product and good price.
 Works well on hot tubs June 21, 2008
I bought this product to empty my hot tub. It empties it quicker then I can fill and clean it with my garden house. I like how a regular garden house can hook up to it. And you can use a water nozzle or sprinkler and water your garden at the same time. Good value and good overall product.
Simer pump June 2, 2008
I needed this pump to replace a worn out pump used to remove water from my inground swimming pool cover when opening it in the spring. It is relatively lightweight but effectively moved a lot of water. I am happy with this purchase.
